Our Social Mission – Over 230 children sponsored and counting…

Your discount program is a service provided by Abenity, and one of the things we enjoy the most at here is the opportunity to give back to our neighbors. For the past few years we have joined with World Vision in the fight against extreme poverty to sponsor children in the African country of Senegal.

World Vision

Abenity World AidWorld Vision is making a difference in the lives of families across the globe. Through the support of donors World Vision is able to provide children and families with nutritious food, clean water, health care & education. At Abenity, we are sponsoring over 100 children, and it’s exciting to see how the lives of these families are being dramatically changed by the simple provision of the daily needs that many of us take for granted every day.

Our Challenge To You

It’s a joy for us to give back and make a difference in the world. Could we encourage you to do the same? If you are financially able, we would love to challenge you to find a way to give back this year… whether it’s through a local charity, a community of worship, or even an international organization like World Vision – there is a lot of need in the world, and together we make a difference when we unselfishly give.

  2. I donate to many charities throughout the year but my favorite is The Gathering Place. It is the only Day Shelter for homeless women and children in Denver.

  3. Each year I give to various organizations along with missions program for my local church. In addition this year I added Samaratin’s Purse Christmas Child Program which is very rewarding

  4. Paying it forward by giving secretely to those who are in need by donating of money, food, goods — whatever they need when needed.

  5. We have several WOrld Vision Children…..you can’t walk into a Chritian Book Store without picking up another one!

Once, our credit card had to be changed and we missed a few months on a child in Guatamala.

We decided to catch up by sending three months donation to the local director to be used for whatever the greatest need was…

It takes a few months to hear back….but we got the most endearing letter from the local representative,he told of buying new shoes and an outfit for our child anyhow the local school where he was attending, was in need of text books. With our donation ,they were able to purchase three text books and make over seven thousand copies.

    We received Pictures of everything!,,,,,’!!!!!!!!!

  6. My family sponsors a beautiful young girl through the Kenya Children’s Fund. During the holidays we make donations to Heifer International and Feed My Starving Children organizations.

  7. I have been on the Board of Directors for over 10 years for a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that offers meeting space to individuals in various 12-step programs. We are very proud of what we offer to the community surrounding the Northern VA area giving recovering alcoholics and addicts a safe environment to go to hopefully continue their paths in sobriety and pass on what they have to someone new. In addition to my volunteer work as an Officer for the organization I continually donate time, effort, and money to keep the daily operations going for the meeting space attendees. The name of the organization is The Independence Club in Springfield, VA and the organization’s new website recently created and donated at no cost is: theindependenceclub.org – check it out!!
